Twilight inspires Goth look
Fans of organic skin care should apply makeup which makes the most of their natural tone, according to one expert who said that the new vampire-chic look that is on-trend at the moment demands it.
Celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole said that the success of the Twilight films has inspired more women to try the Goth look, especially if they have naturally pale skin which suits the style.
"It's not really so much going for a paler skin tone in the foundation, it's actually opting away from the blusher or opting away from a coloured blusher. Match it [blusher] to your skin tone, keep it really bland," advised the makeup specialist.
She added that people can also use a pale-coloured eye shadow to help give peepers a vampire-style twist.
Research by feelunique.com has found that Nicola Roberts, of Girls Aloud fame, is the public's favourite pale celebrity, with Lily Cole and Anna Friel also featuring on the list.
