Twirl your natural mascara to make it last longer
We've all been there – rushing out of the door, grabbing our natural mascara, quickly pumping it into the container and slicking it onto our lashes, as we haphazardly throw it into our makeup bag.
But stop! This could be making your favourite beauty product dry out quicker than it should, which in turn will make your lashes suffer.
Makeup artist Sandra Cooke gave Daily Telegraph readers an alternative for coating those magic wands in the colour that you lashes crave.
"To prevent your mascara from drying out it's best not to pump the wand up and down, as this will push air into the tube," she explained.
"Instead, dip and twirl the wand to coat it with product - you'll have enough to cover your lashes and your mascara will last a lot longer."
Last month, Look magazine tipped bright-coloured nail varnish as the beauty trend of the moment.
