Update natural beauty products in your 40s
Ladies should change their natural beauty products as they get older, ditching shimmery items and instead plumping for matte items.
A post on the BellaSugar blog stated that the makeup ladies use in their 20s will need to be changed in their 40s, with lips being the ideal place to start. The blog advised that dark lipstick is a no-no and ladies should keep the tone neutral.
Another tip is to opt for matte shades in natural beauty products like lipsticks and eyeshadows, which do a great job of eliminating lines and wrinkles.
"Frosting and shimmer work their way into any and all minor creases that your skin has. Moral of the story: after your 20s, frosty makeup is not your friend," the blog added.
As well as updating natural beauty products for their age, ladies should ensure that they check items are not out of date. Makeup expert Sara Stern said that people should see out-of-date makeup in the same way as off food, throwing it out when it has passed its prime.
