Vamp up natural makeup with brown
We are all now aware that brown is the new black, but some of you may have been thinking that just one colour in your natural makeup bag for a whole season could be a tad boring.
Fear not, however, as Karen Loraine, founder of The Makeup Box, has shared her tips on how to incorporate other colours into this style, without going over the top or out of your comfort zone.
If you're looking for variations, she recommended mixing your brown hues with tawny reds, olive greens and mellow yellow and, if you're looking for elegance, it's all about high-arched eyebrows.
Many of you who have just managed to learn the smoky eye look will be happy to know that, despite it being a new season, the techniques you've learnt won't go to waste.
"For those of you who have grown attached the sultry thick eye-lashes and seductive eyeliners, fear not - the new smoky eye colour this winter is rich chocolate brown," Ms Loraine said.
To be totally on trend when it comes to your natural makeup, pair your smoky eyes with red matte lips and a wispy updo reminiscent of Christina Hendricks in Mad Men.
