Waterproof mascara noted as best for long-lasting looks
A celebrity beauty expert has revealed her fail-safe tips for creating a wide-eyed look.
In an interview with Closer magazine, makeup guru Lauren Parsons advised ladies how to achieve long lashes that have staying power.
It was suggested that opting for natural mascara with a waterproof formula will ensure curled eyelashes last longer than if a traditional product is used.
"The formula holds curls better and the stay-put power is mega," Ms Parsons commented.
Another recommendation was to line the lower rim of the eye with a skin-coloured eyeliner, as this will help make small eyes appear larger.
Elsewhere, Ms Parsons urged women keen to disguise fine lines and achieve a glowing complexion to apply moisturiser that contains light-reflecting particles.
Makeup artist Suzanne Krammer recently described in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald how round mascara brushes are the best for easy application, as they allow lashes in the corner of the eye to be reached.
