Why not choose shimmery natural eye shadow for hot summers?
Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr has shown fashionistas how they can dress up their natural eye shadow to make it work during humid conditions.
Szohr turned up for the Miami Swim Fashion Week with her peepers having been given a shimmery touch, a style which Glamour recommended for spells of hot weather.
They explained: "See, humidity makes everything look all wet and shiny eventually anyway, so you can't really go for full-on sparkle."
This means dressing your eyes up with some matte may not be the best solution when the mercury is high.
Instead, follow Szohr's shimmery look, which combined pink eyeshadow on the top of the peepers and taupe across the bottom.
"Sexy, steamy, shimmery - perfect for a hot night out," those at Glamour noted.
Recently, the actress turned heads when she appeared at the premiere of Love, Wedding, Marriage sporting a bright shade of pink lipstick and a combination of shimmery pink and silver eyeshadow.
