Work your lashes with curlers and natural mascara
If you're looking for a sure-fire way to perk up your morning, look no further than your natural mascara and eyelash curler.
Film and television makeup artist Tracy Ewell advised natural makeup fans that paying attention to your eyes can help you fake the well-rested appearance that we all would love to have.
Ms Ewell explained: "The upward sweep of curled lashes makes you look younger and more rested. It's something easy to do that makes a subtle change in your appearance."
If you want to perk up your peepers, apply your makeup as usual before curling your lashes. Add a sweep of natural mascara as the final step.
Last week, Denise Baptiste told One India that all women should learn how to master the smoky-eyed makeup technique, as it is a failsafe look that will never go out of fashion.
