Yummy mummies feel natural makeup pressure
As Mothers' Day approaches, natural makeup may be the perfect gift for the special lady in your life, as a survey has revealed that mums feel pressure to keep up with the beauty pack.
However, rather than this being an effect of yummy mummies in the media, the research by Sheer Cover has found that it's school-gate style competitions that make women ensure they're pristine before they run out of the door.
The poll tells a sad story for British mothers, with 40 per cent saying that they felt more confident and attractive before they had children.
But makeup artist Armand Beasley commented: "For busy mums on the go, it's important that they look and feel the best they possibly can. It doesn't have to take an hour and you don't have to look like a supermodel! You only need ten minutes to get up and glow!"
Earlier this week, research by Mintel has suggested that women refuse to compromise on their natural skin care – and indeed, why should they?
