Antioxidants important for skin care
Antioxidants have been described as important for natural skin care as they can help protect and repair.
Louise Thomas-Minns, skin therapist and founder of uandyourskin.co.uk, explained how it is important to avoid damaging UV-rays, which can be found 365 days a year.
"Incorporating antioxidants into your skincare and diet will protect the skin from further damage and can work to reverse some of the damage if used in higher levels," she stated.
When attempting to decide what products to use, Ms Thomas-Minns claimed that consulting a professional can help to ensure ladies use the best beauty items for their skin.
Specialists should be able to describe which products will work with certain skin types and conditions to improve the appearance, it was noted.
Ms Thomas-Minns comments follow a recent report published in the journal Menopause, which claims a soy germ-based nutritional supplement containing Natural S-equol can significantly improves the appearance of crow's feet skin wrinkles around the eyes.
