Avoid dry eyes & dehydrated skin on the plane this summer
Fans of natural skin care may like to know how to avoid dry skin on the plane this summer. The humidity on a plane is much lower than usual, a typical aircraft cabin will have a humidity of 20% but your skin is more used to a humidity in the 60-80% range.
This all means that after long periods on a plane your skin will feel dehydrated and your eyes will feel tired and itchy. The symptoms are exacerbated by drinking tea, coffee and alcohol, which cause your body to pass more urine.
You will have heard it before, but drinking plenty of water will help - cabin crew are told to drink a glass of water every 20 minutes when working.
To keep your eyes and skin fresh try a natural hydrating facial mist such as Kosmea's Hydrating Rosewater Mist OR the A'kin Pure Rose Hydrating Mist which is also on special offer until the end of July. (FREE with any 2 products from the A'kin range).
Remember to pack a small spray bottle less than 100ml in your hand luggage!
