Beauty editor tells of natural skin care routine
One style correspondent has listed the reasons why she chooses to invest in natural skin care products.
Liz Hancock, 38, the beauty editor of an environmental lifestyle magazine, told the Daily Telegraph that she has had a passion about protecting the planet for some time, which means that she considers many things before using makeup.
These include air-freighting, energy, waste, organics versus harmful chemicals, packaging, animal ethics and brands that do not prey on female neuroses.
She went on to recommend a cream for her sensitive skin, which "is like having double cream massaged on to your face".
Ms Hancock said that she has always been pro-ageing, however, her stance on this is wavering as she gets closer to 40.
Recently, those who choose to use natural skin care were told to check their body for changes, patches on the skin or lumps at least once a month as part of their routine.
