Being happy with one's own skin 'key to beauty'
Fans of organic and natural beauty products may be interested to discover that a celebrity makeup artist is claiming that the key to looking beautiful in any scenario or outfit is to be entirely comfortable in one's own skin.
Julie Hewett, who has worked on clients including Jodie Foster, Kate Beckinsale and Mandy Moore, tells the Examiner that genuine attractiveness comes from a sense of ease.
She says: "Being comfortable in your own skin and making the most of your own uniqueness. And radiating joy helps, too."
Among her personal favourite products is organic camellia oil, due to its absorbency and softening effect.
Ms Hewett also highlights the importance of removing makeup with a hot flannel at the end of the day as a way of enjoying an instant facial, as well as removing the day's cosmetics.
Linda Meredith, beauty guru, recently told the Times that women should remove their natural and organic makeup as soon as they get in, rather than doing so before going to bed. This way there is less chance of hurrying this task or being too tired to do it properly, she claims.
