Big name stars are embracing natural skin care
With the awards season in full swing and the Oscars just around the corner, a slew of celebrities have been turning to natural skin care products as they attempt to brighten up their complexions.
New York stylist Paul Labrecque, who has worked with A-listers including Renee Zellweger, told the Mirror that many of his clients have a strict pre-Oscars regime for improving the condition of their hair.
"Many of my stars stick to a high protein diet as it's great for keeping hair healthy as well as keeping your body lean," he said.
The newspaper added that for the awards season, stars need to try and maintain flawless skin and some use face packs, infused with seaweed and aloe vera.
ELLE UK recently stated that stars such as Claire Danes and Audrey Tatou reinvented the red-lip look by using darker reds and combining them with well thought-out dresses.
