Capturing Oscar looks 'needs natural beauty dedication'

Capturing Oscar looks 'needs natural beauty dedication' Fans of natural skin care need to make sure that they pay close attention to their complexion if they want to pull off the biggest Oscar looks, according to one publication.

Hello magazine reported that stars like Hilary Swank, Mariah Carey and Carey Mulligan all went to the awards ceremony with nude lips and showed plenty of shoulder.

"Decolletes were given the night off as shoulders took centre stage in de rigueur strapless dresses. Skin needs to be super smooth for this look, exfoliated and moisturised and then slicked with highlighter," it stated.

The magazine added that hair styles were heavily influenced by Veronica Lake and featured waves or tied-back knots that have been worn by stars like Victoria Beckham recently.

Hair stylist Frederic Fekkai recently told the Associated Press that women should go through a detailed routine if they are to get the most out of their hairdo and retain it throughout the day.
