Debenhams offer skincare guidance
Many women will be upping their organic skin care routine this summer as they prepare themselves for a beach holiday or simply for some fake tan and Debenhams is on hand to help guide tanners through their woes.
The chain has launched a new Tan Tone Colour Chart which will be available in every store and provides a guide to the different shades of tanning that a woman can opt for, from Pale and Interesting to Radioactive Orange.
Sara Stern, director of beauty at Debenhams said the bronzed look is a key trend for this summer, but many women (an astonishing 70 per cent) are getting their fake tan escapades wrong, with masses applying too much product or topping up too often.
"This one-of-a-kind chart is the first on the high street and is available in our beauty halls nationwide to encourage a healthy glow, whilst avoiding the dreaded orange," she added.
Orange is currently one of the hottest colours in the fashion and natural beauty scenes, according to the Daily Venus Diva, but in eye shadows, not in skin tone.
