Expert advises against using cleansing wipes
Ladies looking to review their beauty regime and promote healthier skin may want to consider investing in good-quality cleanser.
Skin therapist and founder of Uandyourskin.co.uk Louise Thomas-Minns explained face wipes are one of the worst cosmetic tools used by women.
"They are an ineffective [and] lazy way of cleaning the skin, as well as being awful for the environment," she claimed.
The expert urged individuals to ditch cleansing wipes and instead spend more time on their daily beauty regime.
According to the specialist, this is particularly important in winter, as it was noted the cold weather can cause "a whole host of unsightly changes" in the skin.
Elsewhere, Ms Thomas-Minns described how rouge lip colours, glittery eyeshadows, smoky shades and natural tones are all set to be popular trends on the catwalks this season.
Meanwhile, it was suggested women should look to pair modern looks with vintage styles, as this will be "key" in 2012.
