Expert: Invest in high-quality natural moisturiser
It's always wise to cut back on your spending where you can, but natural moisturiser is one beauty product that you shouldn't spare expense on.
Zara Rabinowicz, editor of Kiss & Makeup, said that many budget natural skin care products are developed in the same labs as expensive, high-tech brands, which means that a similar level of research has gone into creating the recipe.
However, the expert writer said that the two main differences are packaging and ingredients – which could make a difference for certain types of products, such as natural foundation and organic moisturiser.
She explained: "A good moisturiser is ... key to creating a lovely complexion, whilst products like cleansers and shaving foam can be cut back on, as they don't sit on the skin for any length of time."
Earlier this week, Lynn Yoffee told Everydayhealth.com readers that they should be prepared to moisturise more frequently in winter to banish dry skin.
