Expert: Moisture needed to keep natural beauty ahead of colder months
People need to preserve their natural beauty as winter rapidly approaches and their skin feels the effects of the seasonal change, one expert has advised.
Jason Zemmel, a pharmacist writing for Body Confidential.com, said that moisturising is the best thing ladies can do to preserve their natural beauty as it will lock in water and prevent wrinkles from emerging.
However, the best way to natural beauty is from within, with the expert advising drinking lots of water to keep skin nourished and getting plenty of sleep to keep cells and oxygen levels boosted.
Ladies should also consider their skin type when caring for it and whether it is dry or oily. Mr Zemmel said that people with normal-to-dry skin will find it gets drier as they get older, while oily-skinned people will have less wrinkles.
Lips are another key area for ladies to focus on and moisturising is needed to keep the natural beauty of their pout, followed by a wipe from a warm, damp facecloth.
New York City makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo recently told the Oprah Magazine that women need to reassess their natural beauty products as the colder months approach, as items like bronzer are no longer appropriate.
