Eye shadow to be used on brow bone
Women have been advised to apply their organic eye shadow to the brow bone area, rather than on their eyelid where it may not stand out due to being in a crease.
According to an article in the Observer by Eva Wiseman, this is the current trend for the beauty product.
She stated the ring finger ought to be used to apply organic cosmetics to this part of the face and recommended bright colours to women wishing to follow her advice.
Females were advised to select "a shade you might find in a nursery school's soft-play area", with purple and a bright reddish pink among the hues highlighted by the expert.
Ms Wiseman added women should look to team up their eye shadow with a sheer pink lip gloss if they want to be on trend for this season.
However, makeup artist Jules Cardozo-Marsh previously recommended smokey eye shadow as a look that can be suitable for all occasions.
