Fake tan encourages stripped down look
Fans of natural beauty can take advantage of far better tanning options compared to 20 years ago, according to one website.
The Dish stated that women will be much more likely to sport a more natural look if they have a tan and healthier-looking skin.
It stated: "There is something about having a tan that makes you feel more able to go outside without your makeup on a lick of mascara and you are out the door confident and glowing."
The website added that people who can take advantage of the summer sun should protect themselves but fake tan products are a viable option for those who cannot.
Overdoing on tanning is not recommended by the site, which said that too much tanning, fake or natural, can make women look like Wags.
Other tanning advice was given by celebrity beauty guru Nichola Joss recently, who told the Daily Mail that self tanning is a process which should be carefully considered and prepared to get the best results.
