Food and light important for natural beauty
Fans of organic skin care should make sure they eat the right foods and avoid exposure to UV light, according to one expert, who said these tips will keep their complexions looking young and fresh.
Bevis Man, spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation, said that smoking is another cause of premature ageing of skin and advised people to avoid this as much as possible.
He said: "Exposure to UV light as well as smoking are two factors involved in premature ageing so protecting yourself from the effects of the sun and refraining from smoking can help combat this."
The expert added that having a well-balanced diet is very important for the general well being of the whole body, including the skin.
Women have not been deterred from buying natural skin care products, according to Mintel, which said that six out of ten women surveyed in all countries reported no change in their beauty buying habits.
