Holiday skincare: 'Less is more'
When it comes to holiday skincare, less is more, it has been claimed.
Alice Hart-Davis, writing for the Daily Telegraph, said that she normally has a lengthy beauty routine filled with all kinds of different products.
However, while on holiday, she did not manage to keep up with this, instead just washing and moisterising her face each day and applying some after-sun lotion.
She said that after a week of this new natural beauty routine, she noticed that her skin was reaping the benefits of this trimmed-back regime.
Ms Hart-Davis commented: "One morning while brushing my teeth, it struck me that after a week of this benign neglect, my skin looked great. It was clearer, brighter and entirely spot-free."
In other news, pharmacist Shabir Dayar has told the Daily Mail that lemons could be an important part of a natural beauty routine, saying that these can help eliminate dead cells.
