How to use natural moisturiser to stay smooth in winter
Natural moisturiser should play a part in your everyday natural skin care routine – however, if you're a little lax when it comes to lathering up, make sure you put some extra effort in during winter.
A commentator writing for Almasryalyoum.com has advised ladies that there are some winter moisturising tips that everyone should pay attention to.
Firstly, make sure that you focus on the areas that are likely to be affected by the cold the most, such as your hands, elbows and knees, which are most susceptible to losing moisture.
Next, you should know your products. If you tend towards dry skin anyway, plump for a serum, which is more oil-based and should be more intensive.
However, if you have combination or oily skin, use a toner before you apply your moisturiser.
The writer suggested: "Put a travel container of hand cream in your bag, so that outside the house you can fight any unexpected skin dryness."
Earlier this month, Maressa Brown told readers of The Stir that moisturisers containing plants and herbs were recommended for nourishing dry skin.
