Julia Roberts is a true natural beauty advocate
Beautiful actress Julia Roberts has spoken out about her feelings towards Botox and plastic surgery and has reinforced her stance on sticking to natural beauty products only.
The star of Erin Brockovich, Eat Pray Love and Pretty Woman told US Elle magazine that she is all about natural beauty and this choice was made for her children as well as herself, explaining that she wants her kids to know when she's happy, sad or confused.
"It's unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don't even give themselves a chance to see what they'll look like as older persons," she said.
"Your face tells a story and it shouldn't be a story about your drive to the doctor's office," the star added.
Unfortunately, Ms Roberts, a stout advocate of natural beauty, is going against the grain, as recent stats from Mintel have shown that over one million people are trying Botox for the first time each year.
She recently told Female First that she is enjoying being a model for the first time in her forties, and is finding both joy and confidence in her work.
