Men are set to embrace natural skin care products
More men are going to embrace natural skin care products and make the male grooming industry worth more than $33 billion (£22 million) by 2015, according to the latest research.
A new report from Global Industry Analysts (GIA) predicted that the demand for male grooming products will soar in the next five years, driven largely by the rise of the metrosexual and innovative, appealing products.
"Men are increasingly demanding products which are specifically targeted at them and are selecting their own body washes and shower gels instead of borrowing from their spouse," the research group stated.
GIA added that the male grooming industry has grown significantly from its beginnings - when it largely focused on shaving products.
Jason Wigglesworth, salon director at The Gentry Grooming Co, agrees with the GIA research and said that men are also paying more attention to their skin in the pursuit of male perfection.
