Men need moisturisers too
Male fans of natural skin care should invest in a good moisturiser as it will help them revive dry skin, according to one expert.
Sarah Vine wrote in the Times about the importance of skin care products such as moisturisers, especially for active men who do not pay enough attention to their complexion.
When answering a reader's question about how she could relieve her husband's dry skin, the journalist said: "His basic skincare regime should be: facial wash, weekly mask, daily moisturiser. He should add sun protection, especially as he is the outdoor type."
She added that the new skin care regime could be done in the morning and that a good face wash would clean out the pores without drying the skin.
The male skin care market is set to grow in the next few years, according to the consumer advisor Tammy Smith¬am, who told Metro Canada about the impact that celebrities like 50 Cent and Brad Pitt have made has been good for the industry.
