Natural hand cream important for healthy nails
Winter plays havoc with your hands – so the best way to protect against the elements is by regularly using natural hand cream and cuticle oil, an expert has said.
Katherine Reeves, sales manager for nubar, said that these two natural skin care products should be in every woman's emergency winter kit.
Ms Reeves advised: "[Use] loads of hand lotion and cuticle oil. It really is just making sure that you are keeping the hands nice and hydrated with lots of cuticle oil before bed just ... to keep [your nails] nice and strong."
If you find yourself with weak and flaky nails even after your best intentions, Ms Reeves said that adding gel polish over your normal nail colour might be the ideal solution.
Last week, Ms Reeves said that anyone who isn't a fan of this season's 'greige' should stick to blues and purples for their autumn nail colour of choice.
