Natural makeup is being embraced by big name stars
More big name stars, such as Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Love Hewitt are opting to use natural and organic skin care, according to one expert, who said that the products are the latest buzz items in the market.
Dr Karen Dover, a laser and cosmetic medicine specialist, told the National Post that more celebrities are using paraben-free products because they want soothing treatments rather than harsh chemical peels.
"Mineral makeup gets a lot of support from dermatologists because it doesn't do those things. It's pure and quite soothing, especially on skin that's been treated," she stated.
The expert added that many dermatologists and skin experts recommend the natural skin care products because they cause less irritation than their chemical counterparts.
In other news, the London Makeup Academy's director Nicole Arter recently said that women can make the most of certain products by recognising the fact that they have multiple uses, such as lipstick, which can also be used as blusher.
