Natural makeup: Party season means skin needs care
Fans of natural lipstick need to make sure that they look after their skin during the Christmas party season and do not leave products on overnight whenever possible, according to one newspaper.
The Chester Chronicle advised women to make sure they keep cleansing products close to hand or near to the sink so they are accessible.
"There's nothing like rolling into your duvet after a heavy night - but if you wake up facing a pillow plastered with mascara, glitter and lippy your skin will suffer," the newspaper stated.
It added that keeping skin hydrated is another important part of retaining good looks during the party season and said that moisturising after a session on the dancefloor is crucial.
The Daily Telegraph recently reported on the rise and benefits of mineral makeup, which it said can feel nicer on and soothe the skin of people who suffer with sensitive complexions.
