Natural products said to be gentler on skin
Natural skin care products are gentler and less likely to block pores, according to one expert.
Sophie Chamings, makeup artist and skincare specialist, described how they allow the skin "to breathe", which helps to support "normal skin function".
In comparison, she explained that synthetic cosmetics are more focused on "short-term aesthetic effectiveness", rather than the long-term outcomes.
It was claimed that many makeup products are advertised based on their ability to provide colour and "long-lasting, radiant finish".
Those interested in swapping their traditional beauty regime for a more natural option were encouraged by Ms Chamings to first look at what they use on their lips.
She noted that people regularly lick their lips and so they "effectively eat" what ever substance is worn on their pout.
Ms Chamings recently remarked how finding the right organic product can be "like magic" as it will work in "harmony" with the "mind, body and soul".
