Natural skin care advice for older ladies
A medical expert has pointed out what we probably already knew; acne may be associated with teenagers but older ladies experience skin problems too, which can be solved with natural skin care advice.
Dr.Emese Somogyi of Castle Medical Center in Hawaii, US, told Khon2.com: “I think that taking care of our skin is not vanity. It's good, sound medical advice and that we are never too old to protect our skin from the sun.”
She added that as we ladies age our skin becomes more dry and flaky, as well as itchy.
According to Dr Somogyi, this is because oil glands are lost, which can result in people scratching more.
She suggested that older women should apply sun tan lotion both prior to being in the sun and after as well to avoid skin-related issues like age spots.
Ladies of all ages can also take the best care of their skin by removing makeup at night, cleansing, toning and moisturising
