Natural skin care: Fake tan needs careful application
Fans of natural skin care need to cautious when applying fake tan, according to one newspaper, which said that bronzed complexions are going out of fashion.
The Daily Mail reported that celebrities are turning their backs on the WAGish wood-stained look and instead are opting to go for a 'no-tan tan', which gives a more natural appearance.
"With pale skin it pays to be cautious when it comes to fake tan. You're much better off building up the colour slowly rather than slapping it on for immediate results," it stated.
The newspaper added that fans of natural skin care need to make sure they exfoliate before applying colour to ensure they get the best results.
Using a daily bronzer was also recommended by the newspaper, which stated that tans can deepen on dry skin.
Rachel Stevens recently told the Sun that she felt better using less fake tan after finishing her time on Strictly Come Dancing and has now embraced a more natural look.
