Natural skin care look is on trend for 2011 brides
Walking down the aisle and showing off a natural skin care routine is currently on trend this year, according to one bride-to-be.
Sarah Dave, news editor of the Reading Post, told GetBracknell.co.uk that it is important any product which is worn, such as basics like foundation and concealer, need to be "spot on".
Lauren Bernard, from Bobbi Brown at John Lewis, said that brides do not want to feel like they are "piled in make-up" for their big day.
"It’s about feeling comfortable and confident and more pretty but to still look like themselves," she added.
Among the tips for brides with a natural skin care routine are to use a dusting of bronzing powder if the dress for their wedding is open necked, while neutral and pale lip colours can often look washed out in photos, so pink, rose or plum should be opted for.
Recently, Belinda Hanks, editor of Confetti.co.uk, said that brides need to make sure that they choose someone who is reliable and a good friend to be their bridesmaid for the most important day of their life.
