Natural skin care products are crucial in the sun
Using natural skin care products while sunbathing is important and people need to pay more attention to what they put on their bodies, according to one newspaper.
The Telegraph reported that the range of options on offer to sun lovers is staggering and can confuse consumers.
Beauty expert Liz Earle told the newspaper about the benefits of mineral based sunscreen: "These sit on the skin and reflect the sun's rays away like a suit of armour. And unlike chemical screens, which must be applied some time before exposure to be effective, mineral screens work the minute you put them on."
The newspaper added that mineral and natural skin care products are becoming more popular in the sector.
In the UK, people who want to retain natural beauty do not have to apply sunscreen from October to March but should do so during the spring and summer months.
In other natural beauty news, Rebecca Freeman, press officer at the British Association of Dermatologists, recently said that using fake tan can be safer than sunbathing for pale skinned people.
