Natural skincare crush: Gemma Arterton
Bond girl Gemma Arterton has proved that sometimes, minimalist chic is the best beauty trend of all and she has set the bar high for what we should all be aiming to achieve from our natural skincare routine.
The star recently worked the red carpet for the premiere of her latest flick Tamara Drewe, looking positively glowing, clad in a cream floor-length strapless Gucci dress which added to her general look of understated elegance.
"Leading lady Gemma Arterton was the talk of the red carpet, and let her natural beauty shine through, with bare-faced make-up and slicked back locks," Marie Claire asserted.
Ms Arterton, who has also starred in St Trinians, was also praised by Metro for her fresh-faced look, and the fact that she had "ditched the face paint", which is something that many women aspire to but very rarely achieve.
Meanwhile, Dr Vivian Valenty, spoke to ABC 15 and offered hope, stating that the best natural skincare routine comes in the form of 'cleansing, exfoliating, moisturising, nourishing and protecting'.
