Natural skincare tips for all ages
Women of all ages can embrace natural skin care, according to an expert.
Dr Rudy Apostol, member of the Philippine Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, has explained to the Inquirer Network that women in their 20s should be focusing on getting enough sleep and eating natural sources of iron such as liver, spinach and lean meat.
He also suggested the use of vitamin C-enriched natural skin care products or tea-tree for the acne-prone.
Dr Apostol then told women in their 30s to also embrace vitamin C and to have a collagen mask every three weeks and in those in their 40s should be increasing vitamin intake and maintaining a balanced lifestyle, both of which will show on your skin.
However, the one thing that women should always bear in mind is simple: "Nothing can replace a good night's sleep as the best of beauty aids," said Dr Apostol. "A rested face is a young face".
If you're looking for a relaxing natural skin care regime, look into using rose, as, according to Camille Goutal, daughter of the world-renowned French perfumer Annick Goutal, who spoke to Stylist, it is therapeutic and reduces wrinkles.
