Natural sunblock: How to keep summer skin healthy
The summer holiday season is rapidly approaching and thoughts of languid days on sunny beaches have started to fill our minds.
However, it's important that in your daydreaming you don't forget the importance of natural skin care over the summer months – or underestimate the importance of natural sunblock.
Dermatologist Ivan Singzon told ABS-CBN News's Mornings@ANC show that over exposure to rays can cause a host of problems, including dry skin and sunburn, as well as long-lasting damage.
"You don't want to get yourself sunburned because you get blisters, itching and stinging pain," he added.
As well as using organic sunblock products, those heading for sunny climbs – and going out in the UK when the weather is scorching – need to take steps such as staying in the shade between 10:00 and 15:00 BST and cover up when in the sun.
Make sure you apply natural moisturiser after sun exposure and opt for natural fake tan for that holiday glow.
Earlier this week, beauty writer/expert Zara Rabinowicz advised that natural face exfoliator will get your complexion spring-ready.
