Natural sunscreen 'most important anti-ageing product'
If you're concerned about making your skin look as youthful as possible (and aren't we all!), you'll be pleased to hear that one expert has offered natural sunscreen advice.
Charles Nduka, cosmetic surgeon with Liberate Cosmetic Surgery and publishing director of Expert Beauty magazine, said that if you want to slow down the ageing process "the most important thing is to use sunblock".
He said that this, along with a good moisturiser, is all that we ladies need and added that expensive anti-ageing creams are unnecessary.
Despite this, Transform recently found that that average woman in the UK spends £24,000 on anti-ageing creams during their lifetime.
Mr Nduka said that ladies can do practical things to halt the dreaded ageing process, such as sleeping on their backs, which will cut down on the amount that wrinkles between the nose and the mouth fold.
"Silk pillows may have some benefit by reducing friction and don't forget that we sleep for one third of our lives so what you do at night-time does have an impact," he said.
