Organic ingredients said to be best for skincare
Organic skincare products have been recommended as the best way to keep faces looking fresh and radiant throughout winter.
Writing for the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Hilarie Stelfox explained how chemical-free creams and balms help to soothe skin that has been damaged by central heating and cold outdoor temperatures.
Products containing acerola cherry were recommended as it is a superfood that is high in vitamin C and antioxidants that repair environmental damage.
It is said to contain significantly more vitamin C than an orange, which makes it one of the best fruits for promoting a healthy complexion.
Other ingredients to look out for include vitamin E, manuka honey, pomegranate and aloe vera, as Ms Stelfox claimed these organic extracts give skin a healthy sheen.
Meanwhile, almond and coconut extracts were noted as great for ageing faces as the products help to plump the surface of the skin "to minimise fine lines and wrinkles".
