Organic skin care: Olympians look good thanks to cleansing
Fans of organic skin care could take a leaf out of the Winter Olympians' book and keep their complexion looking good no matter what the occasion, according to one newspaper.
The LA Times spoke to gold-medal winning skier Lindsey Vonn, who said the secret to her flawless countenance is plenty of moisturiser and daily cleansing.
She said: "The one thing that always helps to keep my skin looking good is exfoliating - keeping my skin really clean. I clean my skin at least once, sometimes twice a day, and I use a lot of moisturiser and sunscreen."
Ms Vonn added that fans of organic skin care should be aware that they can get sunburned even in winter and need to use products that protect their faces.
Models Direct recently stated that the harsher winter weather, the drying effect of central heating and lack of sunshine can make skin lose its healthy appearance and look worn out.
