Plus-size models show off natural beauty
Debates about plus-size models are still raging in the world of natural beauty and more magazines are using larger girls who are representative of 'real' women, according to one newspaper.
The Daily Mail said fans of natural skin care should be encouraged by the latest trend which has seen models like Jacquelyn Jablonski and Lizzie Miller get work on big magazines like Elle and Glamour.
"In the shoot for V, where she [Lizzie Miller] poured into the same designer outfits as the model Jacquelyn Jablonski, she looks like a Forbes pin-up. Above all, Renn looks healthy: surely far more important than looking beautiful," stated the newspaper.
Older women are also being used in beauty campaigns, according to the newspaper, which said this is also a progressive step for the industry.
Monica Bellucci, Sophie Marceau and Eva Herzigova recently appeared on the cover of French Elle with little or no makeup as the trio showed their support for natural beauty.
