Preparation is vital for best treatment results
People considering using natural skin care products to give their complexion a winter lift need to ensure that they prepare it correctly, according to one magazine.
ELLE UK reported that it is important to moisturise all areas of the body before applying products such as fake tan to make sure that there are no streaky patches caused by dryness.
"To achieve optimum results preparation is key. Shaving, waxing and exfoliating should be done at least 24 hours before applying the tan," it stated.
The magazine added that women should clean their eyebrows and around their hairline to ensure there is no staining in these areas after applying fake tan.
Soul singer Corrine Bailey-Rae recently told the Guardian that she thinks there is "something really wrong with using Botox" and said that the treatment stops people making facial expressions.
