Remember 'neglected' places in natural skin care
The best way to maintain the health of your complexion is to use a natural skin care routine but it can be easy to forget certain places.
Speaking to USA Today, Joshua Zeichner, director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research at Mount Sinai Hospital's Department of Dermatology, said that sun screen, whether applied separately or as part of a moisturising product, is essential to protect from damage and ageing.
However, he highlighted that areas such as the chest, back of hands, ears and lips are often forgotten when applying creams and lotions.
Mr Zeichner also advised that exfoliating your skin will make sure that it is healthy and glowing before exposing it to the elements.
"You're not only removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, you're also removing dirt and oil," he explained.
Last week, Bevis Man from the British Skin Foundation urged people to protect their skin from the sun, as burning is completely avoidable.
