Rosehip oil is a great natural ingredient
Fans of natural skin care should consider using rosehip oil, like A'kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil, according to one expert who said the ingredient can help to heal scars and improve its condition.
Sarah Stacey and Josephine Fairley, who edit YOU health magazine and Beauty respectively, said that the natural ingredient needs to be used over time but can have dramatic effects.
"Depending on the extent of the scarring, you could use pure rosa mosqueta on its own. Some natural health practitioners also swear by lavender oil: try mixing the essential oil," they stated.
The experts added that other things people could do to improve the appearance of their scars include camouflaging them with concealers and recently named A'kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil as one of their Beauty Steals Winners.
Beauty expert Stella Gray told the Jamaican Observer that ensuring a natural beauty regime which avoids chemical-based ingredients is important and can stop irritation affecting the skin.
