Spring weather brings new beauty tips

Spring weather brings new beauty tips Ladies have been advised to adapt their makeup routines in preparation for the spring climate.

Alice Hart-Davis, beauty journalist and creator of goodthingsbeauty.com, explained how as the weather becomes warmer it is a good idea to opt for a new look.

"In the spring, a brighter, fresher approach seems more appropriate," Ms Hart-Davis remarked.

She recommended moving away from heavy "cover-all foundations", with tinted moisturiser described as a better option.

In order to achieve the trends seen on the spring/summer 2012 catwalks, the specialist suggested using hydrating serums and illuminating primers to give the complexion a glowing appearance.

"Once the weather warms up, it feels good to adapt what we're wearing on our faces," Ms Hart-Davis stated, adding that makeup no longer needs to hide signs of winter pallor and "festive overindulgence".

Louise Thomas-Minns, skin therapist and founder of Uandyourskin.co.uk, recently commented that moisturising the face and body is something everybody should do all year round in order to keep skin in a healthy condition.
