Sunscreen described as best way to beat dark circles
Ladies hoping to minimise signs of dark circles around the eyes may want to ensure they stock up on organic sunscreen following one expert's comments.
In an interview with the Guardian, consultant dermatologist and professor at the University of California Los Angeles Dr Nick Lowe explained how to prevent and disguise rings.
"Everyone, even those with darker skins, should wear wide, UV-protected sunglasses in sunlight and dab an SPF15 with UVA protection lightly under the eyes," he stated.
The skincare specialist claimed if individuals overlook the use of sunscreen then "there is no point doing anything else".
Another tip was to avoid applying too much eye cream as excessive amounts can cause puffiness and block pores around the "delicate" area.
Nutritionist Jane Clarke recently claimed in an article for the Daily Mail, how it is important to eat plenty of healthy foods including in fresh fruit and vegetables in order to banish dark circles.
