Total natural skin care regime overhaul 'is not needed for spring'
While the changing of the seasons undoubtedly means that your natural skin care may need a little fine-tuning, a beauty expert has said that a full overhaul may not be necessary.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph, international beauty journalist Kate Shapland commented that changing your entire beauty regime may do more harm than good, as once you've identified products that suit your skin, "it pays to stick to [them]".
Temperature changes must be extreme to warrant a full product change, as significant differences in heat can indeed make skin oilier or dryer than usual.
However, Ms Shapland added: "The only concession I make is comfort: a lighter day lotion, for example, can be more wearable in summer and keep skin matt, especially as most offer the same hydrating benefits as richer ones."
Earlier this month, Wendy Lewis from Beauty In The Bag suggested that it is never too early to incorporate anti-ageing treatments into a natural skin care routine.
