Use less organic makeup 'if your skin's in good condition'
A beauty therapist has advised us ladies that we will not have to use quite as much organic makeup if our skin is in good condition.
Louise Thomas-Minns, a skin therapist, said that those who have skin that's in tip-top condition will also find that it's more balanced in terms of oil secretion and levels of hydration.
She said that if you have skin that looks good naturally you will find that any makeup products you apply will last longer.
In addition, the beauty guru offered advice for those with oily skin, saying that foundation primer can help makeup to stay on.
She said: "I would also recommend applying a layer of loose powder to the skin before you apply your foundation and then afterwards to absorb excess oil, reduce shine and keep your make up looking fresh."
Furthermore, Lauren Bernard, from Bobbi Brown at John Lewis, told GetBracknell.co.uk that those who are getting married must also be careful that they don't pile on too much makeup on their big day so that they look fresh faced.
