Use natural sunblock to protect your skin on winter sun holidays
With summer feeling a far distant prospect, many of you may be thinking of jetting off on a winter sun holiday – but remember that it's essential to pack your natural sunblock.
This week, travelsupermarket.com declared January 17th to be 'Holi-Monday' – the busiest post-Christmas rush for getaway bookings.
When heading off to sun-drenched beaches and baking-hot cities, makeup artist Christi Rantis told ABC 7 Chicago that adapting your natural skin care routine is essential to maintain your health and protect from harmful sun rays.
She suggested using a mild natural cleanser to remove organic cosmetics, in order to avoid drying out your complexion, before using a moisture that has a high-level UVA filter.
Ms Rantis also advised that vitamin supplements could help, explained: "Something that is hugely popular right now is products with vitamin C because it helps prevent premature signs of aging that can be brought on by sun exposure and helps protect against future damage."
