Winter weather means a new skin care routine
With winter on the way, women will be subjected to rain, wind, frost and even snow on a daily basis - all things that are bound to take their toll on their skin.
With this in mind, they will probably be looking to adapt their natural skin care routine and there is plenty of advice out there to help them do so.
Divine Caroline recommends switching to a creamy face wash or gentle cleanser, as these will help to clean the face without stripping the skin.
Furthermore, facial oils can add some extra moisture without clogging pores and are perfect for applying to dry patches of skin as and when they are needed.
The website adds that winter weather means it is "much more challenging to soothe redness, flaking and irritation".
Writing for the Burlington Patch, Stephanie Haddad warns women to also pay attention to their lips and apply moisturising balm when leaving the house, as this will help to prevent them from getting chapped.
Karen Nern of Vail Dermatology in Edwards and Basalt, Colorado, also told USA Today recently that ladies should avoid over-complicating their skincare routines, as they need just a few key products.
